My niece came back from Penang with fried rice which she had bought from a restaurant there. Thought it must be a posh restaurant. The fried rice was well packed, looked rather appealing with the chickens, eggs,sambal, anchovies, peanuts and rice neatly packed in their respective compartments and the few slices of cucumber provided a refreshing green. The rice looked rather different, like it had been stained with tumeric or something. The taste was however just so-so, a let down really when a packet had cost a whopping Rm20 or more...
