The next time you chew your gum, you may as well chew away your health! A sweetener used in sugar-free chewing gum, some toothpastes too, could be a severe health risk, doctors warned.Sorbitol, also known as E420 triggers severe weight loss, abdominal pain and diarrhoea. Some patients has lost up to a fifth of their bodyweight as a result of excess intake of sorbitol. The dentists may recommend chewing sugar-free gum to increase saliva production, which reduces cavities and strengthens teeth but don't say you haven't been warned!

This may be true coz there are many Chemical materials for chewing gum, especially suger-free gum.
You can select some natural herbral gum. Safe and natural.
Some of them may have special functions, like natural breast augmentation.
