Health Post: Mini Lobsters Hazard
Just this morning, I had two miserable tiger prawns for breakfast and I couldn't help thinking of how lucky Yak Sin was. The other day, when he was in Phuket Island, Thailand,he had giant lobsters! And suddenly too, I thought of an e-mail from Beng Tee about some mini crustaceans - the mini lobsters which are literally garbage cleaners in the sewage treatment plants. The crustaceans supposedly get fatter with dirtier waterand their lungs are said to be full of worms and their flesh, saturated with poisonous metals. These mini lobsters are said to be served in restaurants, not that I have heard of them in Malaysia, but the message is clear: Do not eat them unless you want your lungs infected too!
