There are many variations to the fan dance. Besides Chinese fan dance, there is the Korean fan dance, for example which evolved from Joseon Dynasty court dances. In the West, the fan dance can even be sexy and erotic what with a nude woman doing sensual movment with the aid of two large fans made of ostrich feathers. Lucky ostrichs!
