Really, I missed the meal at home during the recent winter solstice 冬至 dongzi. Literally, there was a little feast for the family; stewed eggs and pork, bak kien or Chinese meat rolls, fried chicken among others; all my favourites ; but when Mau Wei came a visiting; we had lunch at a Chinese restaurant instead; but that was fun too for I got to eat tangyuan 汤圆 which Mau Wei personally made and we had also considered that lunch as celebrating the birthdays of Mau Wei and the gang which fell in December and the coming January. Then the next day, I couldn't even expect to have leftovers. Mau Wei treated me to lunch in another Chinese restaurant.
