Busan Bout: Barbeque Dinner

Concerning barbeque; we usually have it outdoor and it's always a messy, smoky affair; fanning so hard to start a fire, using charcoal and kerosene. Gogi-gu-i however is different. Gogi-gu-i which in Korean means meat roast actually refers to Korean barbecue; and one can have it in the comfort of a posh restaurant. In Busan, there are quite a number of such restaurants and we dined in one during our last night there. We grilled our meat on charcoal grills which had been built into the dining table. Some Korean restaurants use gas instead of charcoal and in the absence of built in grills, portable stoves are used. Since this is Korean barbeque, there will always be kim chi of course.  It came as one of the side dishes. Goodbye Busan, you're just delicious!
