Sunday morning, I received a message from Mau Wei. Do you want to buy smoked duck for the Chinese New Year? No, I said and thought that was that. Then, I received another message, How about having lunch together? Fine, I said but it was not until 2.30 pm that her mother and her turned up and I let her treat me to lunch at a Chinese restaurant. Then, it was off to Kuala Sepetang to pick up their smoked duck. It wasn't planned but I did picked up a smoked chicken for dinner!
