Chicken rice, anyone; with hor fun and Nga Choy? That's one of the dishes that Ipoh is famous for. I remember reading that HK star Chow Yuen Fatt went for this rice dish which came with smooth, juicy chicken, smooth silky koay teow and juicy, crunchy bean sprouts when he was here in 1999 to shoot the Hollywood movie, Anna and the King. Don't know if I remember right but this, I'm sure - one day, my nephew and I just stopped by in Ipoh to have this dish in a rather crowded shop.
