Triangular Chinese Buns

Breakfast this morning was just coffee and oats. No noodles from the market as the covid 19 pandemic has resulted in the government ordering a restricted movement for the people. There were plenty of other things to eat though;  Chinese buns, tarts and bread; everything except the last was homemade. Some of the buns have grated coconut fillings and the triangular ones have turnips and carrots; and I reserved them for tea. Once, I treated a colleague to some of the triangular buns. Her mom loved them so much and asked where she could buy them. The triangular buns of course, were not for sale. They could not be bought anywhere nowadays; not in eating shops in Taiping, most certainly.
