While in Hadthong Resort, Phattalung, I remember being served a lavish dinner. Some of my friends thought the dishes were not as tasty; not up to par as we always have high regards for Thai cuisine and other food served in Thailand. Nevertheless, I thought the food looked more Chinese than Thai but I really don't remember having any qualms about it; the food were not bad actually. Later, many weeks after returning home, I heard from the complainant that the food served were similar to the food served in a Chinese restaurant in Alor Setar, Kedah. Kedah is a state in the northern part of Malaysia and very near the Thai border and Phattalung. It should not be a surprise that they share similarities.
