Just helped Miss Ng to buy some masks. People have been wearing masks when they go out lately. It's the new norm and it's the new regulation. People have been known to be fined a thousand ringgit for not complying but then of course, we're all complying mainly because it seems like the right thing to do. It's bad enough to get infected by COVID-19 but it'd be worse if one brings the virus home and infects friends and family members. It was noon when I handed the masks to Miss Ng; just time for lunch and we decided to drop in at a restaurant in Taiping Mall to tuck in something. Miss Ng had Tom Yam noodles and I had Jawa Mee. Hers didn't look appetising and mine was just so so. The noodles was a bit soggy and I had cheaper and tastier Jawa Mee at little stalls in normal eating shops elsewhere.
Now, which one is jawa mee?
