On 16 September, Malaysia Day; Vivian picked me up at half past six. At a junction, she asked me the direction to town and I told her to turn right. She turned left instead and I was baffled. Where are we going? I asked and she said Matang. Of course, my colleagues were treating me to dinner in a Chinese restaurant there. Dinner was served rather quickly as booking had been made earlier. The dishes were all yummy; including the fish head in yam dish which I remember I had for lunch not too long ago.
