There was this potato-like bread that my niece baked; all brown and looked crusty on the surface as if there was a layer of biscuit crumbs or cereals. It smelt tasty and felt good when the teeth sank into it and then, you'd be pleasantly surprised to find a juicy sausage inside. My niece said it was Taiwanese hotdog; and then I read that in the street of Taiwan, there's this specialty resembling a hot dog; a grilled small pork sausage in a larger, sticky rice sausage which you could eat with not just chili sauce but also salted vegetables, pickled cabbage, pickled cucumbers, garlic, wasabi, thick soy sauce, peanut powder, cilantro or basil depending on your preference. I thought that probably was another variety of Taiwanese hotdog.
Can you spot the hotdog?
