Oh! It is just like a treasure box! Just when I heard that so and so is going vegetarian now that the nine day Taoist celebration of the Nine Emperor Gods Festival is on; there is this sudden realisation that the Mooncake Festival is over. The former festival is celebrated on the eve of the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar while the latter is celebrated on the eighth. No more carrying lanterns for the kids then; but on the kitchen table is a blue box filled with leftover mooncakes. They can still feast on that!
