Mayonnaise in the Noodles


Mayonnaise in your sandwich or hamburger? That's perfectly normal; but mayonnaise in your Tom Yum noodles? That sounds strange but my nephew, the chef perhaps did that just to dress up the noodles. Mayonnaise which is an emulsion of oil, egg yolk, and an acid was said to have been invented by the Duke of Richelieu in 1757, and had originally been named mahonnaise to celebrate the French victory at Mahon. Maybe, it would go better with French food.
