All those Food

There has been a caricature of a tiger getting fat by the third day of Chinese New Year going round the social media. Somewhere I read the lion dance is synonymouss with Chinese New Year. Food too, I should add. On new year eve itself, food is plentiful. Besides the lavish reunion dinner in the evening, there is a feast for the departed in the afternoon. A lot of food would be offered in a special prayer and afterwards  it would be the living who would eat. Who doesn't put on weight with all that food?
