Tiramisu Teaser

Tiramisu sounds rather Japanese but the dessert is actually Italian. Since its recipe is not found in cookbooks before the 1960s, it is said to be a new invention. A story claims that the dessert is invented in the Italian restaurant Le Beccherie belonging to restaurateur Ado Campeol who passed away in 2021. His wife and a pastry chef created the dish in 1969 but it was only added in the menu in 1972. My niece probably learned to make tiramisu in 2022. A few days ago, she posted pictures of the tiramisu she made. They looked rather attractive and I was wondering when I could lay my hands on them when she brought some specimens over.
