Ipoh Yong Tau Foo


Was it my niece who brought back a packet of yong tau foo 酿豆腐 from Ipoh? The Hakka Chinese dish consisting of tofu filled with ground meat mixture or fish paste reminded me of the famous Ampang yong tau foo which a friend treated me and some other friends to decades ago. The Ipoh yong tau foo tasted great, if not better.
