Malaysian Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook was in the news ever since he took the helm of the Transport Ministry. There was news of him going undercover wearing a cap, mask, plain clothes and trousers and taking a ride in the train at peak hours the moment he assumed office. Come Chinese New Year, he shared a story on his grandfather who had emigrated from China in the 1920s and added yee sang to his catering business menu in the 1940s. The dish has then become a hit among the Chinese community.
