Burgers and French fries, I often heard are junk food; food said to have lots of calories but not many nutrients, something I couldn't digest actually. The patty of ground meat in a burger is mostly protein. The bread and perhaps the French fries too should provide the carbohydrate we need and with the salad and coleslaw added in, viola! We have some fibre and a balance diet. Then of course if one is to consider the amount of cholesterol, sodium and saturated fat in these food, one would have to contend with the claim that this fabulous food is junk; expensive junk really; that I wouldn't mind having for dinner.
