Nasi Lemak in Disquise

It could count as the popular nasi kerabu from the east coast states, Kelantan and Terengganu. For one thing, the rice was blue like nasi kerabu, coloured by the versatile bunga telang. Nasi kerabu is often eaten with dried fish or fried chicken, crackers, pickles and other salads but all these are optional. My blue rice was served with eggs, prawns and for salad, there was cucumber. I swear there was a piece of fried chicken; but really the rice was fragrant with the smell of pandan leaves and had been infused with a generous helping of coconut milk that I could not help but think that it is nasi lemak in disquise.
