Satay, the dish from Java, Indonesia; has long been popular in Malaysia and other South East Asian countries. The aroma of grilled chicken meat that had been seasoned and skewered wafted in the air. There were homemade satay on the kitchen table. Dipped a stick into the sauce of ground roasted peanuts. The sauce tasted authentic, like the one bought from the market. The meat wasn't too bad, maybe just a bit too tender and salty
