Pasembur, a dish consisting of shredded cucumber, turnips, bean sprouts, bean curds and potatoes served with a sweet and spicy nut sauce has been described as a Malaysian salad dish. That is even though prawn fritters, spicy fried crab, fried squid or other seafoods can be among its ingredients. Thought it was an Indian dish as the dish is usually sold by Indian Muslims.
