Mount Bromo or Gunung Bromo, an active volcano forming part of the Tengger massif in East Java, Indonesia stands at 2,329 meters. Though not the highest peak of the massif, it is the most well known. The major access point to this picturesque mountain is Cemoro Lawang at the northeast edge, and Tosari in the northwest and Ngadas in the west.
