Joy is receiving a call!

Joy is receiving a call! (Pic taken in Old Kopitiam, Taiping. 2009) In Singapore and Malaysia and elsewhere in Southeast Asia, you can find 'kopitiam', a portmanteau of the Malay word, 'kopi' which means coffee and the Hokkien word 'tiam' which means shop. So, 'kopitiam' is actually a coffeeshop and you can have a breakfast of egg, toast, kaya, coffee, tea and even the malted chocolate drink, Milo here. By the way, the Malay word, 'kopi' is borrowed from the Portuguese.
