Round like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning on an ever spinning reel
Like a snowball down a mountain, or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that's turning running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find in the windmills of your mind....
Like a snowball down a mountain, or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that's turning running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find in the windmills of your mind....
Such beautiful lyrics in such a beautiful song! No wonder there have been more than 80 cover versions! I thought I had heard Taiwanese singer, Chyi's version first and didn't know that it was Rex Harrison's son, Noel Harrison who first sang the song for the 1968 movie, The Thomas Crown Affair.... Round like a circle in a spiral... Like the cookies in the kitchen, so nice and sweet. Mmm... Round suddenly reminds me of all the round and not so round goodies that had been churned out of the kitchen!
