Khani sent me an interesting piece of news on crabs just before the Chinese New Year reunion dinner. Was advised not to have crabs in the menu as some crabs, the ones with the blacked tipped claws are said to be poisonous enough to kill. But I just said, No worries. I don't know about other families but crabs have never been served during the reunion dinner at home. Once, a long time ago, we did have turkey but most of the time, it would be just pork, chicken, fish and prawns. Just check for yourself if there's crab here!
