Go Go Squid and Cockles

In Mũi Né, Vietnam; after visiting the white sand dunes, it got rather hot and uncomfortable and I thought I could do well with a bath. We had however checked out from our hotel which I thought was a shame since the hotel wasn't far away; but then our tour leaders probably wanted to save time and had taken us for an early lunch instead. We had seafood and two of the dishes stood out; a squid dish and a cockle dish. The squid was stirred fried with an assortment of vegetables: cauliflower, onions, pepper, tomatoes, pineapple; and the cockles with shells in tact was stirred fried with scallion. Not that they were extremely delicious but I haven't seen them prepared that way before. The painting on the wall was just as interesting
