Huan Chu Leng is created in Taiping? That's news. Huan Chu Leng is a type of steamed bun. It doesn't look like Mi Ku and it's more chewy maybe but I don't think it's Mi Ku; the former is created from the latter maybe. As the name implies, Sweet Potato Dragon, there ought to be sweet potato in it. In the Net, I read that Huan Chu Leng is only sold in Taiping and it comes in a whopping fourteen inch long size. At home, the Huan Chu Leng is most certainly shorter; not longer than the length of an adult's palm and it twirls like the shell of a snail. Normally, I had it plain but yesterday, I had it dipped in curry. Yummy!
Which is Huan Chu Leng and which is Mi Ku?
