Mother's Day wasn't the same this year. In the past, pre-Covid days; most restaurants would be packed with people and sometimes, if you don't book beforehand, you wouldn't be able to get a table even if it was just in a mediocre restaurant since many people prefer to dine out with the family, giving a day off to mothers; I suppose. This year, with the Covid-19 pandemic in full swing; even if the restaurants were open, I bet many families would opt to stay home. Mother's Day could however still be eventful; count on my niece who woke up very early to whip up a feast! The Mother's Day cake was simple but tasty; and there were egg tarts, waffles, vegetarian satay, agar-agar and of course cakes among others! It was a happy Mother's Day indeed!
Now, where is the cake for Mother?
