Tempura in my Noodle Soup!

I just love tempura. As far as I remember, the Japanese dish of meat, seafood or vegetables that have been battered and deep fried is eaten with some kind of dipping sauce; now  I read that it is used as topping for Japanese noodle soups too. And I swore there was a little tempura in the noodle soup I had had for dinner. Besides meat balls, fishballs, slices of Chinese cabbage; there was a sprinkling of some deep fried bean curd; that counts as tempura too, no?
