Christmas is over but there are more goodies yet on the table! A quick check and you'll spot a pizza, corns, papayas; a vegetable dish among others. It is not even near Chinese New Year yet but there is homemade nian gao; and a delightful Peranakan appetizer, Kuih Pie Tee. The last is made of crispy thin pastry cups filled with carrot and turnip strips and topped with peanuts and chilli sauce. Yummy!
