Breakfast Add On

What do you call the deep-fried banana fritter balls often sold in the streets and served as snacks for tea? Cekodok? They are also called jemput-jemput; and the traditional fare originates from Malaysia and Indonesia. One day, when there were overripe bananas at home, we had them as an add on for breakfast.

The cekodok here aren't very round, are they?
