A Chinese Curry

No doubt curry is a staple among Malaysians. Often eaten with rice for lunch or dinner, the dish with a sauce seasoned with spices is popular among Malay and Chinese. As India is the home country of curry, the Indians who migrated here long ago must have introduced the dish to the local Malay and Chinese. The local curry uses turmeric-rich curry powders, coconut milk, shallots, ginger, chili peppers,,garlic, tamarind ; even shrimp paste called belacan but there ought to be some variations in the preparation somewhere as the Malay, Chinese and Indian curries do look different. All however share the common delicious taste.
