Vietnamese coffee I have had had ; but not so sure about Vietnam's national dish, Phở ; a dish consisting of broth, rice noodles, herbs, and meat either beef phở bò or chicken phở gà. The dish is said to be served in the whole of Vietnam but couldn't recall having it there where it could be authentic. The nearest to Phở that I ever had was the one bought locally, presumely from a Vietnamese lady. A great difference between koey teow thng and Phở must be the limau kasturi or calamansi that gave the broth a sourish taste.
Besides wantan and fish ballIs, there were strips of chicken meat in this noodle dish. Is this phở gà?
