It was on a Sunday when we left Phattalung. It would be getting back to the real working world for some of us the next day; so, it was quite worrying if we could make it on time to the border to catch our train. Luckily, our host at the resort was kind enough to provide transport for us. As some of us would be continuing their holidays in Hat Yai, we were ushered there; first to Big C hypermarket where we did last minute shopping and then to the city centre where the holiday makers checked into their hotel and we had lunch. I had had chicken rice and a delightful coconut dessert; the latter probably only found in Hat Yai. So long, Phattalung!
